What’s the difference between raster and vector artwork?Updated 2 years ago

The difference between raster and vector artwork is that raster art uses pixels and vector artwork uses paths that have been calculated to represent the shape and route between the two endpoints. Raster art is often used for photos, while vector art is often used for design. Raster art has scaleability limitations due to the pixel quantities, while vector art is infinitely scaleable and will maintain the same quality at any size. For printing purposes, vector artwork is preferred.
